# Hi, I'm Lenz. I'm an AI safety researcher and field-builder. You may also know me as `ramennaut`. I'm an independent researcher working on making AI safety research understandable and usable for governance and decision-making. In 2024, I've shifted my focus towards upskilling and contributing in AI safety. I care about aligning technological progress with human values. I believe this requires both radical innovation and deep social grounding.
