# Hi, I'm Lenz. I work on product ops and strategy for startups, nonprofits, and research teams. You may also know me as `ramennaut`. I wear many hats, but I'm primarily a research and ops person. I’ve supported AI risk research for the [MIT AI Risk Repository](https://airisk.mit.edu/), [Project GRASP](https://aisafetypreparedness.com/), and [UP Diliman](https://facebook.com/futurewavescollect), and led operations for [Southeast Asia’s first AI safety camp in 2024](https://global.condorinitiative.org/). I started my career studying [photonics and semiconductors](https://roses.ateneoinnovation.org/projects/ateneo-kislap), but I've since shifted towards AI safety and responsible tech deployment. I'm driven by the belief that **the future of technology must be radically transformative and also socially grounded in human realities**. I've built tech-enabled tools for social impact, led cross-functional teams, and created repositories and roadmaps to help make AI safer.
